ShaPour KhodaParast presents you How We Can Easily Speak English.

This course of study is designed for adult learners with basic knowledge of English.

This series of basic courses are useful for learning and speaking English as a foreign language.

? Let’s get started

? Basic words and sentences that we need to know in our class.

? Unit Zero – part one

  • My name is ShaPour. What’s your name?
  • My first name is ShaPour. What’s your first name?
  • My family name is KhodaParast. What’s your family name?
  • My last name is KhodaParast. What’s your last name?
  • My family’s name is KhodaParast. What’s your family’s name?

family name = last name       –>    ✅ There is no difference.

family’s name = The name of the family

( = )    ——>    we say this (=)equal “

Family name is equal to last name or you can say last name is equal to family name, there is no difference.

Even you can say this way, last name means family name or family name means last name. So, the equal words show they are synonyms.

( = )       ——–> we say this sign is named “equal“.

( = )       ——–> we call it in Englishequal“.

+What do you call this in English?       ( = )

+What do you say this in English?       ( = )

? For example: ( + , –  )

  • What do you call this in English?         ( + )
  • What do you call that in English?        ( + )
  • What do you say that in English?                   ( – )
  • What do you say about this in English?         ( – )
  • What do you say about that in English?        ( – )
  • What do you name this in English?
  • What do you name that in English?
  • We call it “plusin English. ( + )
  • We call it “minusin English. ( – )
  • We call it in English, plus  ( + )
  • We call it in English, minus. ( – )
  • We say this, Plus.
  • We say that, minus.
  • We name it, plus.
  • We name it, minus.

? Let’s get back to the lesson.

John Fisher Smith

What’s your first name?  My first name is John.

What’s your last name? My last name is Smith.

What’s your middle name? Fisher, it’s Fisher. My middle name is Fisher.

✅ First name + middle name + family name = Full name

✅ First name plus middle name plus family name equals full name.

? Tip: Some people have a middle name and some don’t, so, it is up to people’s names.

First name + family name = Full name

?? As you see John Fisher Smith is a full name. His first name is John, and his last name is Smith and as you all know Fisher is his middle name and the middle name always comes between the first and last name.
