You defined the word, ‘sacrifice, really decently. Thank you so much.
As you correctly said, we do not make sacrifices to gain popularity, or at least, this is not the main purpose of making sacrifices.
And about the last question, it is indeed a very challenging question. I agree with you on the unquestionable value of identity that is even too hard to sacrifice.

1. Sarifice in essence means doing something anonymously without expecting something in return otherwise it will be a deal not a sacrifice.
2. Sacrifice also is better to be remain anonimous unless somebody else mention it or notice it so I do not annoyed or honestly try not to be annoyed if it is not acknowledged.
3. A really difficult question. May be it depends on the matter you want to sacrifice for it. But I think possibly the integrity or identity is the most difficult thing to lose.

1. No, I’d rather it remains unknown. Because in that case, people around me would start to judge me and that would make me even more stressed out.
2. Personaliy, yes I get upset. But I believe that we should not pay attention to people’s opinion. If a goal or dream means so much to us, we must not get distracted by such things.
3. Obviously these these thing are highly important and not at any cost should be threatened, such as someone’s health and security, life and a huge amount of money.
