Topic: Do you think ordinary books will have been replaced by e-books by the end of the 21st century?

Essayist: Lobat

Nowadays, E-books are a favorite method to study.Although they are common especially in young generations ,personally,I believe that ordinary books will stay as a typical way to study for many years because of (them benefits/)several benefits of them.

Firstly, some people specially old generations used to read handy books. They have been able to carry them wherever they want , read them whenever they want ,also books have easy accessible. In spite of accessibility, carrying books are safer compare with electronic devices for reading E-books.Since seniors might be weak,E-books may be a threaten to them and might be stolen by thieves.

Secondly, from an social viewpoint, ordinary books seems as a traditional way and many people stay faithfully with traditional manners.Furthermore, many people are reluctant to use technical devices or some of them are deprived of having access to expensive high-tech tools.

In conclusion, due to the reasons mentioned above,I would like argue that typically books might be stayed by the countless people such as old ones ,librarians and so on for many reasons like safety, loyalty and profits.
Finally, there are several jobs that are depend on books.they make money and jobs for several people like shopkeepers, publishers and librarians. It sounds unlikely these numerous jibs have been faded in next century .

In point of fact, there are reasons to hope that e-books and print books could have a bright future together. To be precise, for all the great things e-books accomplish — convenience, selection, portability, multimedia — there are still some fundamental qualities they will simply never possess. Hence, I think that paper books do not get replaced with e-books because there is different experience that alone warrants their existence.
It would be a lot easier to download books on digital devices but the experience of reading real books is vastly different from e-books that individuals cannot give up them. To illustrate, there is something about holding a book in hand and the act of physically turning a page that cannot be matched with pixels on a screen. Furthermore, people have the visual memory of where something was on the page in print books that makes no sense on a screen. Also, people are more likely to re-read when they have a book in their library. To elucidate, when people see their favorite book in shelf, they recall their experiences and concepts of reading real book. While, digital versions do not seem to impart connections so deep. Lets say, books are collectible because of physical and concept beauty. Thats why, “Having a hardcover on my shelf is like having a print by one of my favorite artists on the wall.” One says.
Beyond a doubt, once people start buying digital books, they do not necessarily stop buying printed ones because the two forms seem to serve different purposes. For example, Screen reading seems particularly well-suited to the entertainments such as genre novels and romances because people read them quickly and have no desire to hang onto them after they have turned the last page.
Finally, according these reasons, print books do not have to disappear for e-books to flourish and e-books do not be the only choice. (314)
