Different visions of young people have brought about new set of difficulties that are deeply rooted in the lack of sufficient self-knowledge and high expectation in every dimension of life whether individually or socially.
Firstly, these days, young people are not fully aware of developing acceptable level of self-knowledge which is a must. For instance, in Iran, most of parents behave towards their youngsters in a squeamish way and do not teach them some approaches through which they can understand themselves, their potential and even some crucial life skills. As this shows, it will take ages to reach their maturity in order to have a healthy relationship with themselves, their parents and society. Thus, conscious knowledge of the young is an inevitable key for creating the best family in far future.
Additionally, having high expectation of materialistic values plays a noticeable role in today’s world. The mind of the young almost always engages with a huge amount of state-of-the-art technology as if they lived in a fancy world. This phenomenon exists both in the families either in cities or isolated villages. Therefore, the young will take lesson from the lives of their parents, ancestors and also successful families in accordance with their cultural and psychological similarities if the adolescent compare simply.
To conclude, lacking self-knowledge and having high expectation are barriers to today’s young people to establish a close-knit family in the right time. It is expected that the young might raise a family if they focused on the above-mentioned problems as far as they could. In so doing, their dreams can come true. 355/ 53
