Coursebook: 1100 Words You Need to Know

In each session, the students, one-by-one, read out the content of each unit of this coursebook, while the other students and the teacher perform error correction, especially about possible mispronunciations.

A great deal of idioms, expressions, synonyms, antonyms, etc. are practiced.

IELTS Listening Practice

You watch an embedded video before the class as many times as you wish. The video is embedded at the bottom of the posts right above the comment forms. Afterwards, using the comment form, you leave at least one question about the video. Each student should leave one question about the video because, in the class, we focus on the questions developed by the students.

You will receive the teacher’s feedback on the form of your questions in the comment form. In other words, the teacher will reply to your possible grammatical mistakes.

Giving Presentations and Interviews

In each session, one student gives a presentation on a free topic lasting for 5 minutes. Afterwards, the lecturer gives an interview to the other students, including the teacher.

Giving presentations can help you to perfect your pronunciation, fluency, accuracy, computer literacy, critical thinking, etc. as your classmates will perform peer-assessment on your presentation and pose lots of questions to you in the following 10 minutes after your 5-minute lecture.

Holding English Negotiations

In each session, 2 students hold an English negotiation lasting for 5 minutes on challenging themes about which they do not agree with each other. They can use their notes in their negotiations to convince their opponents that they have won the argument. The other students, including the teacher, can play the role of a judge in our English negotiations.

Practicing Essay Writing for IELTS Task 1 and Task 2

In each week, there will be an original topic for IELTS Essay Writing Task 1 and Task 2. You are given the link to open the specified page with the topic on top, and the comment form at the bottom. Then using the comment form, you can compose your essay. Afterwards, the teacher will correct and assess your essay in depth.

Class Regulations

Your atmosphere must be completely quiet at the time of the class.

You can attend 8 sessions per month after activating your monthly account. However, if, for any reason, you miss a session, we cannot do anything about it. If any class is cancelled from the teacher’s side, your monthly account is extended correspondingly.

You should use headphones for this group class to prevent the echo of voices.
