He used denial to run away from the responsibilities of paternity. Moreover, he prioritized work over his relationships and private life.
As the story unfolds, he begins to like Lisa, seeing her potential and intelligence makes him understand the fact that he likes her.
Overall the relationship between Lisa and his father Steve Jobs, is one of the central points of this movie. With Lisa’s growing up, Steve’s personality also began to change and grow.
