Some people believe that free education must be constantly provided by the government. Some others maintain that, on some occasions, free education fails to objectify its academic purposes. To which group do you belong? Please provide your reasons.

Nowadays education is one of the most important aspects of life. If you cannot afford it, you will be considered a failure. The following essay is going to deal with the concept of free education. There are two sides for this matter, one side strongly believes that free education will not fix any problem, while the other has faith in it. I advocate the latter.

It is believed that the pros of free education overweigh its cons. To be precise, the first and foremost advantage of free education is that it will omit the differences between the poor and the rich. Likewise, it will give the poor a second chance to build a better future for themselves, make more money and set a comfortable life for their family. The second advantage is that with the help of the education the poor can think correctly and make better decisions for their lives. Last but not least, the poor’s normal life expectancy will grow up and they will live happier. All of these can happen as a result of the education.

On the other hand, some people think that free education can make students lazy and irresponsible. For example, they may be absent in their classes and not pay enough attention to their lessons. In my idea, this may happen, but it is not a sensible solution to make education expensive in order to separate lazy students from clever ones.

In short, free education is essential for every society. Besides, it should be something that can be accessible for every one beyond their nationality or social class. Therefore, it is one of the most important human rights.
