IELTS Writing Task 2 Fast Food

IELTS Writing Task 2 Fast Food

? Topic:

Although much information is now available about the harmful effects of fast food, particularly due to the existence of artificial preservatives, there are still many people who eat fast food excessively.

What solutions do you propose to bring the level of fast food consumption to a normal level?

Who can deny the damage of eating fast food .((Full stop is attached to the last word, no space)) Fast food refers to food that can be prepared and serve((served)) quickly .((Full stop is attached to the last word, no space)) It can come from many places such as sit-down restaurant ,((Comma is attached to the last word.)) tack- out((take-out)), driver-thru and delivery. Fast food is popular because the food is inexpensive, convenient and taste((tastes)) good .Many factors lie in the foundations((foundation)) of this subject .However it all comes down 2((comes down to two)) basic reasons which are they contain unhealthy oil as well as they will make you gain weight, fat((and fat)).

First of all, one of the primary reasons underlying this issue is that many processed foods or fast foods((many types of processed or fast food)) contain partially hydrogenated oils which are the major dietary source of trans fat .This synthetic, chemically produced oil increases your risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes. for example Butylated hydrooxyanisole (BHA) and diacetyl that there are((that are found)) in some fast foods to cause cancer.

In addition, another essential element to be considered is that they((fast food, it’s better to repeat the key words)) will make you gain weight fast .Because((fast because)) fast food is((consists of)) high fat meal , refined grains and((grains,)) added sugar and fats instead of nutritious ingredients such as lean meats, whole grains, fresh((use spaces)) fruit and vegetables .fast food((Fast food)) is also high in sodium, saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol((cholesterol; therefore,)) it is not something you should eat often and((otherwise)) you could cause obesity or fat((develop obesity)). To illustrate this point people who live in America that are one of the most consumers of fast foods((among the largest consumers of fast food)) are very fat and mostly of them((most of them)) have different kind((kinds)) of disease .,((diseases.))

On the other hand, some opponents of this ideas((these ideas)) mentioned above may claim that fast food is popular because is((because it is)) inexpensive or cheap and very delicious .However((delicious. However, it)) could be taken as an accurate assumption to a certain extent since tasting good, preparing fast((fast preparation)) and cheap prices cause fast foods pay attention anybody specially for children((catch the attention of anybody, especially children)).

To sum up, the outcome to be derived from all these facts is that fast foods are inexpensive, preparing fast or easy((prepared fast and easily)) and very delicious but are very harmful and unhealthy((as well)). In my opinion, eating less((eating fast food normally)) is good but it should not replace main food or we should not consume((consume it)) every day.
