Reply To: The Sixth Sense Movie Review & Analysis in Film Criticism

As a horror movie with a ghost story, The Sixth Sense is a success. However, I didn’t like the name selected for this movie. I consider the sixth sense to be more comprehensive and broader. It should not be limited to communicating with the dead. In my idea, the sixth sense and intuition are mysterious abilities or talents that are inborn and could be acquired to some extent through critical thinking, gaining general knowledge about the fundamentals of the universe, meditation, and the like.

The ending of the movie was a big surprise for me. If I got the story right, the child psychologist was a ghost in the film from the first moment when he saw the clairvoyant boy, and I had no idea about that until the last moment.
