Delimitations of the Study
Delimitations of the Study
- The tense is present and not past because the research has not been carried out yet.
- List all those variables that have narrowed the scope of the study, e.g. if you have focused only on selected aspects of the problem, certain areas of interest, a limited range of subjects, and a certain level of unpredictable sophistication would have been involved.
- You can mention why you have selected, e.g. these specified participants or any specific sampling procedure, research methodology, qualitative or quantitative approach, and the like.
- Pay attention to this point that this part of your research is different from Limitations of the study. In the Limitations of the Study section, you mainly focus on the obstacles to the investigation, and not necessarily the elements that narrowed the scope of your investigation.
