In today’s world, assessment of knowledge is one of the most important things which is required for applying to college. There are a couple of different standardized college admission tests, however, the SAT is more significant than others in the United States. In my opinion, to evaluate the students’ qualification for college admission they should test some skills such as writing, critical reading, mathematics, etc. that the SAT can cover them.
Furthermore, as regards the number of candidates is increasing with considerable pace, the SAT is a great way to examine them and determine the students’ competency for college admission. In addition, there are limited seats for new students and it could be the best way to select them. On the other side, some people say that this method does not have a high level of accuracy because they think students have a time limit and to be more specific, they will be nervous during the test and probably they cannot show their abilities properly.
To conclude, although some people do not agree with this method to some extent, the SAT test is one of the best ways for students evaluating in the United State and I completely agree with this method and if the main structure of SAT test could be changed and they could arrange a more comfortable environment for examination it could be more useful.
