Part 1: ⏰ Time: 4 to 5 Minutes 

Get ready to answer some personal questions about yourself:

  1. I’m Hariri and I’m here to evaluate your performance. Could you please introduce yourself and talk about yourself a little bit?
  2. How old were you when you moved to Tehran?
  3. Do you have any fresh memory from west of Iran and your hometown as you were so young at that time?
  4. You are a candidate for the IELTS exam. What do you need it for?
  5. Apart from establishing people skills, is there any other reason for which you want to take the IELTS exam? I mean any career-related reason. What do you do, and what’s your profession?
  6. As a software engineer, do you work in an office or you are a teleworker or are you self-employed?
  7. How is your relationship or rapport with your colleagues?
  8. Are there any cultural differences that might cause problems between you and your colleagues at work?
  9. It’s really interesting! Could you please give me some examples about the cultural differences between you and your colleagues and generally about the people living in Denmark?

Part 2: You have 1 minute for brainstorming ?  and 2 minutes for answering ? the following questions:

Focus on this task card, cue card or topic card:

Describe a problem that affects the environment in the area where you live.

You should say:

  • what the problem is
  • what causes it
  • what people feel about the problem

and explain what you think could be done to solve it.

Part 3: Answer some follow-up questions generally about the task card asked by the examiner:

  1. I want you to explain about the major problem in the face of your country and the country you live right now. Can you consider some other problems that carry more weight in your idea, apart from environmental problems?
  2. I asked you to focus on the most important problem apart from environmental problem in your country, you just compared the country where you live now and Iran.
  3. Get back to my question, the most important problem in your country?
  4. Is Denmark a utopian country?
  5. What is the main reason for which they close the stores so soon at 6:00 pm?
  6. Is it related to daylight hours, because Denmark is close to the north pole?
  7. Have you been able to handle the problem, depression, chatting, early closing of the shops, etc. successfully?
  8. Denmark is one of the happiest countries in the world. Why is it the case?
