unable to see things clearly that are distant or far away, nearsighted – unable to make long-term plans, narrow-minded, unthinking, short-sighted, biased, unimaginative, lacking in foresight, bigoted, prejudiced
Example
Entrepreneurs who are on their way with their businesses, and are looking to succeed in the next phase of development of their endeavor often ask me: “What is the key to turn a small startup into a large-scale business? How does one keep that ‘spirit’ that reigns when there are just a handful of people into a 100-person organization? How does one remain committed to the startup path, despite the turns and opportunities that will arise?” Well, my answer is that, first and foremost, you should not be a myopic entrepreneur.
