The Essayist: Sasan
These days, the Internet has revolutionized the human life. For example, distant learning is one of the advantages which is harvested by people in the new generation. I conjecture that with the passage of time, this type of learning would flourish but could never omit traditional classes comprehensively.
A myriad of reasons back up the promising future of e-learning. In fact, by applying this method, students do not have to waste their time in heavy traffic and the usages of energy would be curtailed. Also, the fees of online classes are lower compared to its on-campus counterparts. Moreover, students have in enough freedom and they can participate in the classes wherever the Internet and computers are accessible. So, these points are the harbingers of e-learning prevalence in the future.
Nevertheless, I believe virtual classes can never be complete substitutes for traditional classes because some students want to rub shoulders with their peers on a daily basis. To be more specific, e-learning needs some learners with specific features such as persistence, discipline, self-motivation, etc. Also, teaching some subjects such as math necessitate social interaction and having face-to-face communications. Hence, it seems to me that pupils never lose sight of real classrooms, teachers, and schools.
