Some years ago, I realized that watching and reading the news had a negative effect on me, and it made me anxious and stressed out. Therefore, I decided to stop following news channels. By doing so, I have experienced less anxiety and I’m able to focus on the future better.
Such a sound decision! This behavior is advised by neuroscientists to steer clear of anxiety and stress. This behavior is also highly addictive, and it’s important to note that up to 90% of the news is bad, negative and depressing news.
