Hi Reddit. My question… How long should I wait for delivery food before cancelling or not accepting the order. Should I wait for eons? This is assuming there is not a guaranteed delivery time, like Domino’s 30 minute thing.
My story: There is a delivery place near me which does not guarantee how long it takes to deliver. On average, on a busy night, it’s about an hour. On non busy nights, 45 minutes. Recently I placed an order on a non busy night at 11:45 PM. I waited for eons until 1:55 AM, and they close at 2:00, to cancel my order. Luck behold it, nobody at the restaurant picked up, so I started cooking some food. But at 2:05, the delivery guy called. I told him to take the food back as it came very late. Was I being inconsiderate?
