English Question about Morality

English Question about Morality

How do you feel about taking a sick day at work when you aren’t ill? Have you ever made unauthorized, personal, long-distance phone calls or taken tools or supplies from work? Have you ever falsified a time card or an expense report? If through a computer error, you were given too large a paycheck, would you report it? Do you see such moral choices as black-and-white issues?

  1. Because I have never done such things, if I someday commit them , I’ll be really stressed out and feel bad. For instance the large paycheck, I would report it because if I think I don’t deserve it then I don’t have good feeling spending it. My conscience would follow me everywhere and everytime.
And about the last question, yes I do see the morel choices as black-and-white matters. But I can’t judge people who commit them. Because I’m not in their shoes.

    • It’s so good that you’re a conscientious person. People with a clear conscience consistently have peace of mind, and peace of mind or equilibrium is such a great blessing.
