اصفهان شهری تاریخی و باستانی در مرکز کشور ایران است. این شهر مرکز استان اصفهان نیز هست.

در قرن شانزدهم میلادی، در زمان پادشاهی صفویان، “اصفهان” پایتخت ایران بود. بنابراین رونق فراوانی گرفت.

بر اساس استانداردهای یونسکو، شهر خلاق، شهری است که از نوآوری ها و توانمندی های شهروندان، در توسعه پایدار شهری بهره ببرد.

بناهای شهر اصفهان شامل میدان نقش جهان، پل خواجو، کاخ چهلستون، سی و سه پل و منارجنبون و بناهای زیبا و باشکوه دیگر می باشد.

معرفی هنر و صنایع دستی مردم اصفهان

۵ – قالی بافی

امروزه اصفهان یکی از مراکز مهم تولید قالی دستبافت، در جهان است.

۶ – فیروزه‌کوبی

در این هنر، قطعات کوچک فیروزه، بر روی گلدان ها، شمعدان ها و آینه ها چسبانده می شوند.

۷ – مینیاتور

این هنر در شهر اصفهان خیلی مشهور است. بسیاری از معماران برای زیبا تر کردن دیوارها از نقاشی های مینیاتور، استفاده می کنند.
