My score to this movie is 8.
I have to say first, that the acting, music and lighting and cinematography was amazing.
Especially JK Simmons, whom acting just blew my mind.
I also really enjoyed the plot and how it captured the relationship between student and a highly strict teacher.
If I were in Andrew’s shoes, I would have sued Terence Fletcher too.
His behavior was not good at all, he put his students in a lot of pressure. I think that teachers should be honest and give honest feedbacks to their students and if they should do more effort and work, they should give them advice, not throw a chair at them or slap them or yell at them. It’s obvious that this kind of behavior only makes students more stressed out and in a long term can cause depression and anxiety.
Overall I believe that as a teacher, yelling at one student and criticizing them badly in front of other students, is not gonna help them to make progress, it gonna make them angry and fill them with shame and hate.

    1. Carpe diem means seize the day, living in the moment and to live deliberately. This phrase is the central theme of this movie, when Neil, Todd and other boys of the group decide to somehow try living a fulfilling life and do what Keating told them.
    2. 8.5 is my score to this movie. I really enjoyed the plot and the actings. I found this movie really inspiring especially to young people and teenagers.
    3. When I was in highschool and middleschool, students tended to like teachers with more understanding. I guess what most of the teenagers are looking for is someone to comprehend them. And John Keating was one of those teachers, he helped his students to opens their eyes to a new attitude of living. He wasn’t strict on students but more a friend. He was someone that they could go to and talk.

    1. My score to this movie in 9.5
I can’t tell how much I liked this movie. It was a true definition of bittersweet for me. And full of moral lessons and points that got me think as well. The characters were so funny and well written. I found the comedy parts so brilliant and funny.
    2. One flew over the cuckoo nest was a metaphor of the escape of the mental asylum at the end.
    3. As I mentioned before it was full of scenes that got me shocked and thinking. Including the ending. I think that chief thought that death is better for Mcmurphy than staying in that situation( he was lobotomized). They had decided to ran away together and in this way Mcmurphy could be free too. I found it a good and memorable ending. One of those that is never gonna get out of your brain.

    1. The major difference between men and women’s brain is the amount of grey and white matter.
    2. According to the lecture there is a nothing box in men’s brain. Which explains why men can do a task for multiple hours with thinking of absolutely nothing else.

My score to this movie is 8. This movie makes you sob and laugh, gives you hope and makes you angry at the same time. It is one those movies that can help you feel better in the hard times.
One of the lessons that I took from this movie is to never give up , have consistency, work hard and always there is a hope.
The answer the third question I have to say I also found the ending a bit unreal. Everything just happened too perfect and went on plan, that made me confused and laugh.
But this didn’t decrease any joy that this movie gave me. And it’s still ranked in one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.

No I haven’t yet thought of setting a new year’s resolutions for 2023,
I think writing your goals on a paper makes you more clear that what do you really want to achieve in the following year and what kind of person do you want to become.
I think the best way to write the good new year’s resolutions is to write small habits too.
The small habits that can change you in a good way in a long term. I make sure that you will be dedicated to this habits.
And about the video I found his speech helpful, specially when he said that the process is more important that the goal and the person that you will become by doing those beneficial habits.

1- My score on this movie-animation is 7/5.
It had an exciting story and the characters and their problems were like a metaphor to our real world. When I was a kid this animation could not take my attention and now I get it, because it hadn’t a huge range of light colors but now I understand why. Because of its genre (western) and their main demand (water) and the hot weather (they were in the middle of desert), the color pallete should have been more brown and dusty. The only thing I can complain about, is that it got predictable at the end and I found it quite boring in the middle.

2- The climax in my opinion was almost at the end of the animation, where Rango came back and they had the final battle.

3- I think another point that was interesting about this movie, was its quotes that made you think and wonder. One quote from this movie that triggered my brain was that: ” You can’t walk out on your own story”. It referred to our destiny and plans that we can’t run from them like Rango who meant to help the people from Dirt to find water. And another point is that from the first part of the animation which they asked the lizard who are you and at that moment he questioned himself, “who he really was and what was his name?” And he thought that he could be anyone and have any name and he improvised his story cause he had a quite passion for acting and imagining (we get it from the very first scene) and he became who he wanted to be.

Well I guess this quote seems to be really interesting at the first glance but it is also really general and you cannot link something to everyone in the world, surely there are exceptions and I am agreed with the second part of this question. I think the tolerance level of hardship and difficulty is something comparative and it is not the same for everybody. For this reason many cannot tolerate a particular level of difficulty

My answer is no. Because first of all I am ok with my current physical appearance and second, physical look is not something that lasts forever. But if I wanted to become an actor, a singer or a model, I would go for it.

No. I would not take this chance to travel to the past without any return, certainly not.
In answer to the second question, I think we can not change the past or the history. Because if you strive to prevent a disaster in the past, you only postpone it.

Yes of course. if they are criticizing me sincerely and genuinely, I am ready to take it. The only problem is that how can you tell they are being kind to you or they are criticizing you because of jealousy. Or should you take their criticism seriously or not?

I can say that my family members are the most precious persons in my life. Not they are only my family, but also they are my close friends. I think it’s a thing that I must be really thankful for. They are there for me anytime and anywhere. So I’m gonna do the same thing.
