The Lion and The Mouse Storytelling in English
Story Told by LELB Society’s Students
Once the king of forest was sleeping in the jungle,
a nutty mouse saw it and commenced playing on the lion’s body, running up to tail ad slipping down the tail.
Suddenly, the lion woke up and growled at the mouse which became scared seriously. The lion grabbed the mouse with its paws and was likely to swallow the mouse.
Ultimately, the lion let the mouse go. After a couple of days, the lion was trapped by some people
and the mouse was the only animal that helped the lion to escape from the trap by biting through the strings of the trap.
According in this story, we learn that we should accept the ability of any creature even if it’s little
One day the king of forest forgives the little mouse down to it’s fault , one day the lion falls into trap , the mouse can helps him and rips the rope and line becomes free.
The lion understands that every creature have especial ability that one day can be a great help.
Storytelling in English can give you this unique opportunity to practice summary writing and paraphrasing in English. You should watch the embedded video below as many times as you need and attempt to rephrase or interpret the plot of the story in the form of comments. Notice that storytelling is a group activity. In other words, the length of the video is divided into the number of the storytellers, and each storyteller is responsible for his/her own sequence.
