  1. It was realy a good story and I want to know what does sidewalk means?

    • Glad you liked this English short story. Sidewalk or pavement is a paved path for people on foot or pedestrians alongside a street or road.

  2. I enjoy the writing style of O. Henry and the twists at the end of his stories.

    • The Skylight Room by O. Henry has taught me to be optimistic even in the most somber moods or conditions. Although Miss Leeson was suffering from poverty, malnutrition, etc., she kept on looking on the bright sight, a star that she called Billy Jackson. This positive thinking and innate optimism became a reality by the end of the story when the protagonist is actually saved by the same star that was known to her.
