  1. In the movie Sonny was a unique robot that had developed a level of self-awareness which made him have feelings. Moreover, he had the ability to make choices and think. This behavior of Sonny reveals the potential of robots to go beyond the laws and their programming.
    Detective Spooner had a tragic experience involving robots, which led him to distrust them. However, as the story unfolded, his interactions with Sonny caused Detective Spooner to reconsider his beliefs.
    VIKI’s ultimate goal was to protect the humanity. So it prioritized the collective safety of humanity over the individual safety. Therefore, it made decisions that could harm few people in oder to to protect a greater population.
