These days, people would like to raise a smaller family rather than a large one. First of all, financial problems put a pressure on families and cutting the number of children by quite a lot could help families with these issues. Also, parents could combine carriers and the upbringing of children much more better. Moreover, children have more chance to receive better parental attention and educational advantages. Besides that, there would be a lower level of stress in homes owing to the lower rivalry and conflict among children.

Paying attention to the drawbacks of having a small family, sometimes, parents pay too much attention to their children especially in one-child families. As a result, parents would be overprotective and indulgent without being aware of that. So, these sorts of behaviors could be harmful to the children. In addition, children would receive undue, doting attention and they may become self-centered and undisciplined.
