Adjective: (of an action) done rapidly, quick, early, hasty, rapid, swift, without delay – punctual, on time, timely
Verb: to provoke and stimulate something, encourage, trigger, make something happen, incite, induce, motivate, effect, urge, inspire, exhort, bring about
Adverb: at the specified time, on time, at the appointed time, on the dot
When a client or colleague replies to a previous email in a short amount of time, let them know and thank them. If the reply wasn’t quick, simply removing “prompt” will work, or, you can opt for, “Thank you for getting back to me.”
