At the present time, genetic engineering is a controversial topic which has advocates and opponents. I personally believe that this method could be practical if scientists evaluated all of its aspects, though there are lots of opposing perspectives.

To begin with, these days, the burgeoning population of mankind necessitates generating more foods in less time. As a result, food producers and farmers have to be more productive and need to go through new scientific procedures. Genetic engineering is a great idea if humans assess all of the side effects. Moreover, a gargantuan amount of farmers apply various types of pesticides and insecticides in order to increase their productivity. In doing so, these primitive methods may have lots of harms to humankind and nobody is aware of their legacies. So, all methods have their own risks, undoubtedly. Furthermore, Genetic modifications lead to higher profit and even the size of fruits could be adjusted, thereby easier transfer. Consequently, it seems to me that genetic engineering is a wonderful idea if we study how it should be put into action.
