Generally speaking, during the history of human life, Statistic illustrate that, when some goods were easy accessible, people would not care about consumption of that stuff, Therefore fossil fuels consumption is not an exception. as a person who is a strong believer in global warming matters, and environmental issues, I can say that, increasing the price of fuel is completely supported by me. in my opinion it is obvious that cost of fuel is an effective way for controlling fuel usage in order to reducing traffic congestions, and air pollution.
It is reported by meteorologists, in 2017 around 37 megatones carbon dioxide was emitted in the atmosphere and this can be disaster for environment. As far as I concern, there is a direct equation between fuel consumption and air pollution, in the other hand reverse relation between the price of gasoline and traffic jam. So it is obvious that price of fuel is a strong and curtail parameter in decreasing air pollution and motorway traffic. For example, in some countries, people faced with this situation and statistic shows that, after the rise of fuel price, 20 percent of people prefer to use other ways instead of personal car for going to work and shopping. Although increasing the fuel worth will effect in price of many goods in society and make our life difficult in consequence of transportation expenditures, we can manage our expenses instead. For instance, using public transportation, wearing adequate clothes in home in winter time, and isolating our home are good solutions not only for saving money but also for reducing air pollution.
Briefly, cheap fuel lead to more air pollution and heavy traffic in big cities, therefor with fuel price increase and manage our expenses we could have better environment and lower traffic jam.
