  1. It was a complex poem and I had to search in different sites and watch several videos to undrstand the theme better.
    The poet talked about sorrow and grief. Also raven itself was a symbol of grief.

  2. This poem was really interesting and I liked it because it was not hard at all. But I don’t like ravens , they kinda spooky and not kind to pepole and eat dead people.

    • You’re right, Soroosh, and that’s for this very reason that Edgar Allan Poe has chosen this gloomy and dreary bird to cast a sense of foreboding in this poem.
