/ˈtep.ɪd/ (adj)

Tepid definition

  1. (of liquids) not cold nor warm but lukewarm, slightly warm, barely warm, warmish
  2. (of a reaction or response) unenthusiastic and not very interesting, indifferent, apathetic, moderate

Example

How do you react to someone who is being cold or tepid to you over text?

Stop talking to them for a while and wait till they come around. Or just accept the fact that either they’re mad at you for something or they just don’t want anything to do with you anymore.

I am one of these people who are cold or sometimes tepid over the text. Believe me, some people just have no sense how to sound nice or warm over the text! So if you are not sure how to talk to them, just call them or talk to them face to face. If they do care about you, it wouldn’t be a problem!
