John Donne has such unique perspective. I think he is trying to say, death is not scary and also isn’t the end. It’s like a sleep but transferring us to a place that we live eternally. Death is a companion of poison, war and sickness so there is nothing for it to be proud of.
This movie was really heartbreaking. The way Germans treated Jewish people was really annoying and upsetting.
Wladek had such an inspiring personality, he managed to get trough all that stuff during six years of war such as the loss of his hole family.
The German solider amazed me. He could easily kill Wladek but he didn’t. I wanted him to be saved by Wladek as well but I suppose not everything goes great in real life.
By the end of the movie, my heart was full of cheer for Wladek, he could finally achieve what he wanted, to be a great pianist.This movie was really hard to watch for me. How Anthony was struggling with dementia, the way his mind didn’t function properly. And also his daughter Anne who became sad everyday by his father’s actions. This movie helped me to understand people with dementia better.
Emily Dickinson was such a wonderful person; In the time which only men were supposed to go to university, study and work; So there were no place for a woman but house work, she studied, read, and became a writer, a good one! I really enjoy reading her poems so that I can see how does a person with an open mind which is much further than her own time works. And this poem was really fascinating. Describing hope as a bird which warms our hearts in every situation without expecting anything back.
This movie reminds the fact that you should not raise a child unless you are healthy both physically and mentally. Even Joker who was adopted by his mother had mental illnesses as well as his mother.
It is important for government to support this kind of people. If joker took his medicines, maybe he wouldn’t end up like that.
I enjoyed the movie. Joker’s character was really suitable for Joaquin Phoenix. He played it very well.This quote mentions that every human being has his own to live. You can be the master of your soul and don’t be afraid of the decisions you make and take risks.
I really liked the way Sonny was treating the hostages. But the end of the movie broke my heart. He was brave, kind and he just wanted Lyon to be happy and live the way he wanted. Al Pacino really did a good job playing this movie.
I suppose he meant that don’t be afraid of the problems you are facing with, just go ahead and try, whether it is your way and you’ll make it or not. Yes some journeys are not for us but the ones that we are not sure about if we can or not, what other way is there but to give it a try? Of course we should take steps carefully but just not to be afraid of experiencing.
This movie shows us the power of friendship. Tony Lip who has been racist for years now begin to like black people and his best friend is one of them. And also Dr. Don Shirley ,a clean freak person, starts to take life easier.
It was so interesting and entertaining how they overcome their personality and the problems they had because of racism to be a good friend to one another.
This is one of my favorite movies, I really enjoy watching it every time I do.
This animation shows us that parents should care of their children but not limiting them from experiencing new things. If we don’t try different things how is it possible to find our own way of living, the way that works for us? Taking care of our children doesn’t mean not to allow them from following a way just because it is an unknown or didn’t work for ourselves. Each person has his own path and that’s what makes it beautiful.
We have a specific time that is given to us; On every moment we choose how to use it. Just spending it or live a life that is useful for ourselves and also the people around us. No one really cares the amount of days that a person has lived but they do care what quality it was. So we should try to choose ‘having a high quality life on our path’ every single minute.
